The Men and Women in this book aren’t your typical rags to riches stories.
Some are rags to riches back to rags back to riches. What they had to go
through to make any money let alone wealth is astounding. I couldn’t put
this book down!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
K.P. Spraggings Author Photo
K.P. Spraggins DNA is business. He was trained and mentored in Direct Selling by one of the most iconic businessmen in history (one of the characters in this book), S.B. Fuller.

He moved on to sell Chicago Metropolitan Life Insurance, winning awards and becoming the third highest producing salesperson in Chicago.

He has worked as a copywriter at an advertising agency who won the Timmy Award for the best late night commercial. While in advertising, he promoted a real estate seminar in several cities and states.

He has worked as a Junior Achievement Consultant and won an award in a best humorist speech contest while being a Toastmaster (Toastmasters International, a professional speakers’ organization).

K.P. expanded his horizons to being a Business Broker (negotiating the buying and selling of small businesses). His claim to fame was negotiating the sale of four Subway franchises worth over a million dollars in the south suburbs of Chicago.

But it wasn’t until K.P., influenced by people repeatedly telling him they didn’t have all the financing to buy a business, did he start writing. His first book, “12 Ways to Raise Money without Going to the Bank”, was not for the general public, but primarily for buyers of businesses.

When one Black History Month, K.P. Frustrated by the lack of positive role models, asked a Junior College Administrator what Black History programs they had available. When she replied, “None”, and asked him if there was a subject he could talk about, he came up with the idea to speak about past and current Black entrepreneurs, named “Great Black Money Makers”.

These were some of the most creative, wealthiest Blacks in history, that few people knew about. It was an instant hit.
